SCHOOL CLOSURE – IMPORTANT NOTICE
Friday, 25th July 2014
Governors would like to give notice that they have agreed to close the school a day early at the end of the summer term to enable the packing up of resources in preparation for the move to the new site.
We do apologise for the short notice and for any disruption that the closure might cause, but hope that the unusual circumstances demonstrate why this decision has been made.
The last day of term will now be Thursday, 24th July.

photo Now that the new hall and kitchens are in place we have turned our attention to the next step in our relocation, which is designing the outside environment for the Broom Park field. Adults have worked with Martin Byrne, a Landscape Architect, who created the first draft of the landscaping around the buildings. Martin then met with pupils from the School Council who brought ideas, questions and suggestions from all the children across the school. Martin has collated all of these into a revised plan which you can view in the reception of the school and on our website. At the same time the staff have been working with Kevin Presland, the Architect who created the building layout design for the Broom Park site, and we are finalising the internal specification of our learning spaces in dialogue with Kevin. | Dartington Village Site Plant |
